Georg Baselitz
This is the first major exhibition of Georg Baselitz's paintings and sculptures in Finland including a selection of works from the 1960s and his "remix" works since 2005, in which the artist revisits his early paintings by interpreting them with lightness and spontaneity.
Also on view are photographer Benjamin Katz's portraits of Baselitz that convey the long-standing relationship between the photographer and the artist, with more than 100 photographs dating from 1978 to 2009.
