Gerwald Rockenschaub
Using a variety of industrial materials to realize his large-scale projects, Rockenschaub will show three, new, large installations in the Kunsthalle, all designed and developed using a meticulously calculated, virtual model of the museum space. These site-specific works, characterized by their minimal and abstract forms, shiny surfaces and bold colors, will enter into dialogue with five new animated films, as well as several existing works. A crossover of Pop, design and club culture, Rockenschaub continues to revolutionize the traditional concepts of art through his work.
