Oliver Beer: The Cave Exhibition walkthrough and film screening

On the occasion of his London exhibition, The Sky in the Cave, join Oliver Beer for a film screening of his video opera, The Cave, presented as a single-screen version specially adapted for the occasion from the original eight-screen installation.

Filmed in the renowned Paleolithic painted caves of Dordogne, La Grotte de Font-de-Gaume, which house some of humanity’s earliest artworks, the work transforms the cave’s unique acoustic properties into a video and sound installation. First shown at the 17th Lyon Biennale (2024–2025), The Cave features a new composition by Beer performed by eight singers, including Rufus Wainwright, Woodkid, eee gee, Mélissa Laveaux, Hamed Sinno, Jean-Christophe Brizard, Mo’Ju and Michiko Takahashi.
