    From April 22 to 26, 2015 Munich will host the second edition of KINO DER KUNST, a unique event of its kind worldwide to present films by visual artists who take cinema beyond its traditional boundaries and explore new narrative fictitious forms. KINO DER KUNST is designed to be an exhibition and a film festival in one, creating a showcase for today’s trends in art and an international meeting point for artists, curators and the public.

    The program includes current short and long artists´ films from all over the world in the highly endowed International Competition. One of the highlights will include the German premiere of the last installation by the late Harun Farocki (1944-2014), "Parallel I-IV" at the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts, and "Be the first of your friends“, a monographic exhibition of 36-year-old media pioneer Cory Arcangel at the Espace Louis Vuitton.

    Dances For The Electric Piano

    Cory Arcangel's Dances For The Electric Piano performed by Hampus Lindwall will premiere in Munich on April 24 at 7.30 p.m. at the Blaues Kino of the HFF Munich.
